Wire Rope Lube 00 is a grey/black colored semi-fluid, lithium soap based grease containing Molybdenum Disulphide and Graphite with exceptional penetrating properties to provide internal and external protection against corrosion caused by moisture, adverse weather conditions, and seawater.
Wire Rope Lube 00 is ideal for dockside and ship crane ropes, drag lines, hoists and mobile cranes.
Apply sparingly, 1kg is sufficient to lubricate 50m of 25mm diameter rope. The capillary action of the
lubricant will ensure full penetration to the core of the rope. For best results, Wire Rope Lube 00
should be applied to clean ropes to ensure complete penetration. If not possible to clean the ropes
of previous lubricant, then apply Wire Rope Lube 00 on top of the previous lubricant to soften it,
work the rope for one week, then make a further application. Please agitate the product before use.
