Windscreen Wash Additive is a clear blue liquid concentrate designed to be used in automotive windscreen washer reservoirs. Windscreen Wash Additive is water soluble and non-flammable. It has slight ammonia smell, and has a pH of approximately 9.7. Windscreen Wash Additive is not classified as a Dangerous Good according to the criteria of the Australian Dangerous Goods Code, and it is classified as not hazardous according to the criteria of NOHSC Australia.
1. What does Windscreen Wash Additive do?
Windscreen Wash Additive improves visibility by helping remove dirt, road grime, bugs, and film from windscreens. It enhances cleaning performance when added to the washer reservoir.
2. How much Windscreen Wash Additive should I use?
For daily use, add 75–100mL to a standard 2.5L reservoir. For heavy grime or long trips, add up to 250mL for stronger cleaning power.
3. Is Windscreen Wash Additive safe for all vehicles?
Yes. It is suitable for all petrol, diesel, and hybrid vehicles equipped with a standard windscreen washer reservoir.
4. Is Windscreen Wash Additive hazardous?
No. It is not classified as hazardous and is not a Dangerous Good according to GHS and ADG guidelines. However, avoid allowing the concentrate to enter waterways.
5. Does the Windscreen Wash Additive prevent streaking?
Yes. When used at the recommended dilution, the additive helps provide a streak-free, clear windscreen finish.
