Hi-Tec Super Zorb is lightweight oil absorbent. It can rapidly absorb liquid and retain the liquid against leaching. It does not break down and does not become slippery when wet as do certain other absorbent materials.
Hi-Tec Super Zorb is made from crushed white sedimentary rock formed by the accumulation of the skeletons of marine sponges. The crushed rock retains the original sponge structure ensuring that it retains its lightweight, highly porous, super absorbent character.
Hi-Tec Super Zorb rapidly absorbs liquid and retains it against leaching. Used Hi-Tec Super Sorb, that has absorbed “Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons C10 – C36” (kerosene, diesel, lubricating oils) and contains no free liquid, has been classified by the NSW EPA as “Immobilised Solid Waste” suitable for disposal in Solid Waste Landfills with approved leachate-management systems.
