MOLY LITH EP2 is a premium lithium soap thickened grease formulated with an advanced extreme pressure (EP) and anti-wear (AW) additive technology. It contains Molybdenum Disulphide to provide extra protection against wear.
MOLY LITH EP2 is a multi-service grease suitable for use in both automotive and industrial applications. In addition to its EP and anti-wear characteristics it also provides a high level of oxidation, rust and water washout protection. MOLY LITH EP2 has demonstrated outstanding performance with regard corrosion protection, low temperature pumpability and high temperature service.
The state-of-the-art equipment and procedures employed to manufacture MOLY LITH EP2 grease provide it with a high degree of mechanical and storage stability. It resists breakdown under high mechanical stress, and in stress storage it will maintain its consistency.
MOLY LITH EP2 is recommended for use in most types of automotive and industrial applications including
heavy duty service where high loads are encountered. It is suitable for rolling element bearings, plain
bearings, gears and couplings. Because of its outstanding corrosion and water resistant properties it is
particularly suitable where water ingress is present such as underground tunneling or mining and ore
crushing plants.

MoSâ‚‚ provides extra boundary lubrication under extreme pressure and sliding conditions, reducing wear and extending component life where metal-to-metal contact may occur.

It is suitable for typical service from –20°C to 140°C, and can withstand short periods at higher temperatures if relubrication is increased.
4. How does MOLY LITH EP2 perform in wet or corrosive environments?
It offers excellent corrosion protection and resistance to water washout, making it suitable for underground, tunnelling, mining, and ore-crushing environments where water ingress is likely.
