DD50 Coolant Blue is a premixed, ready-to-use long-life coolant designed for petrol, diesel, and gas engines in heavy-duty commercial, industrial, on-highway, marine, mining, and stationary applications. It provides outstanding anti-freeze, anti-boil, and corrosion protection.
2. Do I need to dilute DD50 Coolant Blue?
No. DD50 Coolant Blue is pre-mixed and must be used neat. Diluting it with water reduces performance and protection levels.
3. How long does DD50 Coolant Blue last?
For heavy-duty diesel vehicles, the coolant life is 1,000,000 km / 6 years / 12,000 hours (whichever occurs first). Always top up with the same product.
4. Is DD50 Coolant Blue compatible with other coolants?
Hi-Tec Oils strongly recommends not mixing DD50 Coolant Blue with other coolants or inhibitor types, as it can reduce corrosion protection and overall performance.
5. What engine materials does it protect?
It protects all common cooling-system metals, including aluminium, cast iron, solder, copper, steel, and brass. It also provides excellent cavitation protection and prevents scale and rust buildup.
