1. What vehicles can use Universal CVT Transmission Fluid?
Universal CVT Fluid is engineered for a wide range of Continuously Variable Transmissions (chain and belt types) including many Audi/VW chain CVTs, Honda, Subaru (Lineartronic), Nissan NS-series, Toyota/Lexus (where CVTF is specified), Hyundai/Kia low-viscosity CVTs and more. Always check the vehicle manual for the exact CVT spec needed.
2. How does this CVT fluid help transmission life?
It maintains optimized metal-to-metal friction, anti-shudder properties, anti-scuffing and shear stability — all of which reduce wear, control heat and prolong CVT life (typical fluid life ~30,000 km depending on vehicle and use).
3. Is Universal CVT fluid suitable for hybrid CVTs?
Not always. It’s suitable for many CVT types but NOT suitable for some Ford and Toyota hybrid CVTs that require an ATF. Always confirm the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendation.
