Hi-Tec Carby Cleaner is a rapid action solvent based aerosol cleaner for carburettors and other fuel dispensing apparatus. It is designed to remove oil, gum, fuel, varnish and carbon deposits from the equipment and to restore the surface to an “as new” appearance.

Shake the can of Carby Cleaner well and with engine cold ignition off, spray into throat of carburettor until
choke valve and other surfaces are clean. Remove the air cleaner and start the engine. While the engine
is idling, spray into float chamber vent and throttle body. Stop engine then spray the exterior of
carburettor, and finally replace the air cleaner.

Initial application must be done with the engine off and cold. The engine is run briefly during the cleaning process as per the instructions.

Yes, it evaporates rapidly and leaves no film.

Yes, it is a flammable aerosol and classified as Dangerous Goods Class 2.1.
