1. What is Calcium Sulphonate CS2 Grease used for?
It is a heavy-duty calcium sulphonate complex grease ideal for mining, steel mills, paper mills, construction, and marine environments where high temperatures, water, and heavy loads are common.
2. Is this grease suitable for high temperatures?
Yes. It has a very high dropping point (>280°C) and delivers stable performance up to 140°C continuous and 180°C intermittent.
3. Does it provide good water resistance?
Excellent. It resists water washout and spray-off better than lithium, aluminium, or polyurea greases.
4. What makes Calcium Sulphonate CS2 superior under heavy loads?
The thickener naturally provides exceptional EP and anti-wear protection without the need for added additives. It has an 800 kg 4-ball weld load rating.
5. Can it be used in marine applications?
Yes. It performs exceptionally in saltwater and humid environments due to its outstanding rust and corrosion resistance.
