ATF DX3 is designed for older automatic transmissions requiring Dexron® IIIH or Mercon® performance. It is also suitable for power steering systems, hydraulic pumps, chains, wire ropes, and a range of metal components requiring a fast-drying, high-stability fluid.
2. Can ATF DX3 replace Dexron® VI or Mercon® V?
No. ATF DX3 must not be used where Dexron® VI, Mercon® V, or Type F fluids are specified. Always check the vehicle owner’s manual before selecting a fluid.
