Hi-Tec Bug Rid is effective against most types of organisms found in fuel; it is particularly effective against Cladosporium resinae; as well as against bacteria, yeasts and fungi.

Bugrid is a powerful biocide that kills and prevents microbial growth in diesel fuel, protecting tanks and engines.
2. How does Bugrid help prevent fuel contamination?
It eliminates bacteria, fungi, and mould that grow at the fuel-water interface and cause sludge, corrosion, and filter blockage.
3. What is the recommended dosage for Bugrid?
200mL treats 1,000L of fuel. Dose every time new fuel is added to prevent regrowth.
4. Can Bugrid help with filter blockages?
Yes. It kills microorganisms that dislodge into the fuel, so filters may initially need more frequent cleaning.
5. How long is Bugrid’s shelf life?
Bugrid has a shelf life of 24 months when stored in a sealed drum.
